Consists of five one-hour sessions based on God’s plan for marriage in the Bible. The Bible clearly states that marriage is a union for life between a man (a biological male) and a woman (a biological female). Specifically, we read in Genesis 2:18-25 the account of God setting up the first marriage in which Adam and Eve were united as “one.”

Pre-marriage classes are conducted via video unless you are located in the Lakeland, FL, metro area and want to meet in person. If so, then sessions can be held at a public location such as a coffee shop that offers seating areas with relative quiet and privacy.

For pre-marriage class sessions, you will be emailed a booklet that will be used for each session. It will be important that you print the booklet, which will allow the perspective husband and wife to each make notes for later study or questions to ask each other or the counselor.

The cost for the pre-marriage counseling is $50.00 per session. You will receive a Certificate of Completion for Pre-marriage Counseling at the end of the pre-marriage counseling. Also, if needed or requested, you can receive a letter of completion showing the course topics, dates, and hours completed, which some jurisdictions mandate that you have to receive your marriage license without having to wait for a specified period.

Available to married couples that consist of a husband (a biological male) and a wife (a biological female). Married couples can experience friction and contention in their marriage, which, if left unchecked, can lead to separation and divorce.

Marriage counseling aims to help couples understand their problems and find a suitable resolution using God’s word. Prevention of separation and divorce is the goal because of the tragedies that follow those actions. Whether biological or not, children will be negatively impacted for years. They will have unseen wounds that seemingly never heal, and they are left with scars that turn into “baggage” that they take into their own relationships as adults. Additionally, extended families are torn apart, and in-laws are left hurting.

But I assure you that if you let Him, with sound marriage counseling, Jesus Christ will help you overcome your marital issues and become a strong couple whose marriage will honor God and be a light in a world that is increasingly being darkened by divorces.

The cost for marriage counseling is $75.00 per one-hour session. If a session lasts more than an hour, it will be $15.00 per 15 minutes over the initial hour. If written proof of marriage counseling is required for any court or other legal process, written proof can be obtained for $25.00.
